Troop Values

We are a Family-Friendly, Attachment-Parenting-Friendly Troop.

We value a positive, enthusiastic, inclusive environment, where children are provided what they need right now as they expand their best versions of themselves.

We are motivated to provide a high-quality, interesting, girl-led program, that still maintains a low-pressure, chilled-out, adaptable agenda that does not expect perfection, but does embrace self-expression.

We work hard and smart, and we work to our strengths as often as possible.

We are active, value adventure, travel, camping, risk, and moving our bodies. We love SINGING!

Each person is free to choose Yes or No!

Our Leadership Structure is given by the Team Consensus and input and influence by families and their resources and passions are welcome.

We support being good Stewards of the Earth, and avoid unnecessary plastic, glitter, styrofoam, mylar balloons, foamy craft supplies. We avoid crafts that are just going to be thrown away. But we love sparkles and making things, so we find fun alternatives, and spend a little more for quality.

Our tone is contagious as we provide a Sisterhood and Family that is a receptive "Yes!" to opportunity, our individual and group needs, and celebration.

Girl Scout Promise

Girl Scouts has a Faith and Spiritual aspect to it. "God" is referenced in the Promise, Graces, Songs, and Awards. Feel comfortable using whatever word works for your family.

On my honor, I will try:

To serve God* and my country,

To help people at all times,

And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

*Members may substitute for the word God in accordance with their own spiritual beliefs.

Words like Love, Nature, Universe, Eternity are a few suggestions.
